Aisha said
Some among us put on ihram for Hajj alone (Hajj Mufrad). Some of us for Hajj and Umra together (Qiran). And some of us for Tamattal (first for Umra and after completing it for Hajj).
Muslim who can afford hajj in Mecca perform the pilgrimage once in a lifetime.
On the 9th Dzulhijjah, pilgrims in ihram gather at the plains of Arafah for the highest rite of hajj. This is in remembrance of Judgement Day.
Then on the 10th, muslims worldwide celebrate Eid Al Adha (عيد الأضحى) with Eid prayers and sacrifices. It continues with the days of Tashreeq on the 11, 12, 13th.

002:158 Indeed, As Safa and Al Marwah are from the symbols of Allah. So whoever performs Hajj to the House or Umrah, there is no blame upon him to tawaf between them. And whoever volunteers good, then indeed, Allah is Most Appreciative and Most Knowing.

002:196-203 And complete the Hajj and Umrah for Allah. But if you are prevented, then offer sacrifice as you can afford. And do not shave your heads until the sacrificial animal reaches the place of sacrifice. And whoever among you is ill or has an ailment of the head (necessitating shaving, must offer) a ransom of fasting or sadaqah or sacrifice.
And when you are secure, then whoever performs Umrah followed by Hajj, then offer sacrifice such as he can afford. And whoever cannot find (or afford it), then a fast of three days during Hajj and seven when you have returned (home). Those are ten complete (days). This is for those whose family is not in the area of Al Masjid Al Haram. And fear Allah and know that Allah is severe in penalty.
Hajj is (during) well known months. So whoever has made Hajj obligatory upon himself therein (by ihram), there is no sexual relations and no disobedience and no disputing during Hajj. And whatever good you do Allah knows it. And take provisions, but indeed, the best provision is fear of Allah. And fear Me, o you of understanding.
There is no blame upon you for seeking bounty from your Lord (during Hajj). But when you depart from Arafa, remember Allah at Al Mashar Al Haram. And remember Him, as He has guided you. For indeed, you were before that among those astray.
Then depart from the place from where the people depart and ask forgiveness of Allah. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
And when you have completed your rites, remember Allah as you remember your forefathers or with greater remembrance. And among the people is he who says, "Our Lord, grant us in this world" and he will have in the Hereafter no share. But among them is he who says, "Our Lord, grant us in this world goodness and in the Hereafter goodness, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire." Those will have a share of what they have earned, and Allah is swift in account.
And remember Allah during days numbered. Then whoever hastens (his departure) in two days there is no sin upon him, and whoever delays (until the third) there is no sin upon him, for him who fears Allah. And fear Allah and know that unto Him you will be gathered.

022:026-30 And when We designated for Abraham the site of the House, (saying), "Do not associate anything with Me. And purify My House for those who perform tawaf and those who stand (in prayer) and those who bow and prostrate.
And proclaim to the people the Hajj. They will come to you on foot and on every lean camel. They will come from every distant pass.
That they may witness benefits for themselves, and mention the name of Allah on known days over what He has provided for them of (sacrificial) animals. So eat of them and feed the miserable and poor.
Then let them end their untidiness and fulfill their vows and perform tawaf around the ancient House."
That (has been commanded). And whoever honors the sacred ordinances of Allah, it is best for him in the sight of his Lord. And permitted to you are the grazing livestock, except what is recited to you. So avoid the uncleanliness of idols and avoid false statement.

005:097 Allah has made the Ka'bah, the Sacred House, standing for the people. And (has sanctified) the sacred months and the sacrificial animals and the garlands (by which they are identified). That is so you may know that Allah Knows what is in the heavens and what is in the earth, and that Allah is Knowing of all things.

022:033 In them (sacrifice) are benefits for you for an appointed term, then their place of sacrifice is at the ancient House.
