Allah's Messenger ﷺ saidBoth in this world and in the Hereafter, I am the nearest of all the people to Jesus the son of Mary. The prophets are paternal brothers; their mothers are different, but their religion is one. Sahih Bukhari

The creation of Prophet Jesus is like Prophet Adam — Allah SWT simply breathed into them His created spirit ونفخت فيه من روحي [Q15:29], فنفخنا فيها من روحنا [Q21:91].
Perhaps, it is how mankind will be resurrected on Judgement Day as well ونفخ في الصور [Q36:51]. | |  | 019:016 And mention (O Muhammad), in the Book (the story of) Mary, when she withdrew from her family to a place toward the east. | |
| 019:017-18 And she took, in seclusion from them, a screen. Then We sent to her Our (created) spirit (روحنا), and he represented himself to her in the form of a man in all respects. She said, "Indeed, I seek refuge in the Most Merciful from you, (so leave me), if you do fear Allah." | |
| 019:019-21 He said, "I am only the messenger of your Lord to bless you with a pure son." She said, "How can I have a son while no man has touched me and I have not been unchaste?" He said, "Thus your Lord says, 'It is easy for Me, and We will make him a sign to the people and a mercy from Us. And it is a matter (already) decreed.' " | |
| 003:042-43 And when the Angels (الملائكة) said, "O Mary, indeed Allah has chosen you and purified you and chosen you above the women of the worlds. O Mary, be devoutly obedient to your Lord and prostrate and bow with those who bow." | |
| 003:045 When the Angels (الملائكة) said, "O Mary, Allah gives you good news of a Word (بكلمة) from Him, his name the Messiah (المسيح) Jesus the son of Mary. Honoured in this world and the Hereafter, and he will be one of those nearest to Allah (المقربين)." | |
