It was narrated that
Aishah said

If the Messenger of Allah saw a cloud that looked as if it was bringing rain, the color of his face would change, and he would go in and out and walk to and fro. Then, if it rained, he would feel relieved.

Aishah mentioned to him what she had seen him do, and he said: "How do you know? Perhaps it would be as the people of Hud said: 'Then, when they saw it as a dense cloud coming towards their valleys, they said: This is a cloud bringing us rain! Nay, but it is that (torment) which you were asking to be hastened.' " [46:24]

Sunan Ibn Majah
Book 34 Hadith 65

011:050 And to 'Aad (We sent) their brother Hud. He said, "O my people. Worship Allah, you have no other God but Him. Certainly, you do nothing but invent (falsehood).
011:051 O my people. I do not ask you for it any reward. My reward is only from the One who created me. Then will you not reason?
011:052 And O my people. Ask forgiveness of your Lord and then repent to Him. He will send (rain from) the sky upon you in showers, and increase you in strength (added) to your strength. And do not turn away, (as) criminals."
026:123-127 'Aad denied the messengers. When their brother Hud said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. So fear Allah and obey me. And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds."
007:066 The leaders who disbelieved among his people said, "Indeed, we see you in foolishness. And indeed, we think you are of the liars."
